Is beCPG really free?

The Community Edition is free and open source, under the GNU LGPL v3 licence: you can download it, install it and modify it. The Enterprise Edition is a subscription that adds support, packaged modules and the hosted service.

What is the difference between the Community and Enterprise editions?

Both share the same open source core. The Enterprise Edition adds support, a stable branch with patches, full business intelligence and reporting integration, preconfigured data for food and cosmetics, installation facilities and the SaaS service.

Can I install beCPG on my own servers?

Yes. The Community Edition is built and run with Docker from the GitHub sources. The Enterprise Edition is available as a SaaS service hosted in the European Union or installed on your own infrastructure.

How can I try beCPG without installing it?

Start a 30-day free trial: you get an online instance with sample data, nothing to install.

Which industries is beCPG built for?

Food and beverage, cosmetics and personal care, and other consumer goods: formulation, labelling, specifications, quality, projects and supplier collaboration.

How can I contribute?

Report issues and propose changes on GitHub, or send code and translations to the beCPG team. Contributions are reviewed by the team that develops the product.
