Introduction

This documentation presents the installation, configuration and operation of a server running beCPG. beCPG uses Docker technology for its deployments.

Architecture

beCPG offers a microservice architecture. Below is an overview of the architecture: each block corresponds to an application component, and only the web front end is exposed to the client workstations.

This flexible architecture allows you to deploy beCPG on a single server with Docker Compose or on a cluster with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Rancher. Cloud providers such as Amazon, Azure, or Google offer container management via Kubernetes as standard. Cluster-based architecture allows you to have each service on different machines and to duplicate certain services to ensure high availability and scalability.
