Product compliance
Product compliance refers to an item’s ability to meet all applicable requirements before it is placed on the market. In beCPG, compliance checks are structured around three key areas:
- Customer compliance: adherence to the terms of reference through the management of specifications.
- Internal compliance: application of the requirements and rules defined by the company via specifications.
- Regulatory compliance: alignment with current legislation according to the market area (managed via specifications, the Decernis connector or the beCPG regulatory module).
Control features available in beCPG
To verify and ensure this compliance, the application provides three technological tools:
- Product specifications: allow you to manually define the customer or internal requirements to be applied to each product reference.
- The Decernis connector: an external regulatory database that can be integrated (requires the purchase of a specific Decernis licence).
- The beCPG regulatory module: a native tool that can be used alongside or as an alternative to the Decernis connector. (Requires subscription to the option)
